Celebrity Ballroom Shines at the 2025 Ft. Lauderdale Classic

We just got back from the Ft. Lauderdale Classic, and Celebrity Ballroom brought the heat (and a few trophies) back to Georgia!
Saturday kicked off with powerhouse workshops from Katusha Demidova and Rufus Dustin that gave us some fresh inspiration before hitting the competition floor. That evening, we enjoyed a “Fly Me To the Moon” space-themed dinner where Donna Addison took home the crown in the Space Off Dance Off (she’s still bragging about it).
Sunday was a full day of dancing for Bill & Holly Welsh with their coach Josh Crenshaw, and Jeff & Roxane McDaniel with their coach Donna Addison. Smooth and rhythm heats ran all day, and our students did a fantastic job representing Celebrity with confidence and energy.
That night at the awards dinner, we were proud to celebrate:

🏆 Bill & Holly – Top Bronze Couple
🏆 Josh Crenshaw – 4th Place Top Teacher
🏆 Celebrity Ballroom – Top Studio Award
On Monday, we wrapped up the trip with a fun “Florida day” before heading home. The guys played a round of golf while the ladies hit the spa for some well-earned relaxation.
Big thank you to Tommy & Pam Ditomasso for hosting a well-run, fun event as always. We’re already looking forward to seeing everyone at the Tampa Bay Classic in September.
