Honoring Our Veterans: A Heartfelt Thanks from Celebrity Ballroom Dance Studio

This Veterans Day, we at Celebrity Ballroom Dance Studio want to extend our deepest gratitude to all who have served our country. We are especially grateful for the veterans within our community—students, friends, and family members alike—and to our very own studio owner, Josh Crenshaw, whose service is a testament to the dedication and bravery of those who defend our freedom.

Last Friday, we hosted our "Dance Steps and Dog Tags" party, an evening filled with dancing, laughter, and an incredible show of generosity. Thanks to the efforts of our students and guests, we raised a little over $1,000 in just one hour, all of which went to support K9s for Warriors. In honor of Veterans Day, Celebrity Ballroom matched the donation, allowing us to send over $2,000 to this incredible organization that’s making a tangible difference in the lives of veterans across the country.

About K9s for Warriors

K9s for Warriors is a nonprofit organization committed to helping our nation's heroes find a path toward healing. Their mission is to end veteran suicide by pairing veterans suffering from PTSD, traumatic brain injury, and/or military sexual trauma with trained service dogs. Many of these dogs are rescues, and through the program, they are transformed into lifesaving partners for veterans in need. This unique bond not only provides our veterans with emotional and mental support but also helps these amazing animals find a new purpose.

We are incredibly proud to support K9s for Warriors, knowing that every dollar contributed goes toward training service dogs, raising awareness, and supporting the many brave men and women who face daily challenges after returning home.

Our Veterans Day tribute wouldn’t be complete without acknowledging each and every one of our students who contributed to Friday’s event. Your generosity and commitment to supporting our veteran community remind us of the power of coming together for a cause bigger than ourselves. With every step on the dance floor, you made a difference in someone’s life, and for that, we are so grateful.
