It’s time to light up the stage once again! ✨ Fall Showcase 2025 registration is officially open! This week is exclusively for our Comp Club members, and next week we welcome all Bronze-level students and above to reserve their spot in this unforgettable production.

This year’s theme? The Magic of Disney—a celebration of imagination, courage, and timeless music. Whether you're channeling a Marvel hero, a Star Wars legend, or a Pixar favorite, this showcase invites you to step into your favorite world and dance your heart out.

💃 What Are My Performance Options?

We offer several exciting ways for you to participate—there’s something for everyone, no matter your dance goals:

• Solo Routine: One student and one professional or one amateur couple performing a full-length routine to a pre-selected song. (To complay with NDCA rules and regulations, full length routines are anywhere from 2:00-3:15 minutes)

• Duet Routine: One amateur dancing with two professionals—a striking, dynamic showpiece that incorporate more theatrics and tricks. These are called spectaculars. You can even have 3 or 4 professionals making then trios or quartets.

• Shadow Routine: One amateur couple dancing alongside a professional couple, mirroring choreography. These are great for amateur couples who are newer to performing or may want a bit of security out on the floor. These are also very dynamic and entertaining as you can do more with more people.

• Presentation of Standard: 16 measures of choreography focused on one chosen ballroom or Latin style.

• Opening Waltz: Our beloved group waltz tradition, open to all Level 2 students and above.

  • Rehearsals begin mid-August

  • Only group lessons are required to participate

  • A graceful and fun way to open the show as a team

Performing in a showcase takes your dancing to a new level. Here's what you gain:

• Accelerated Skill Development – Working on a routine sharpens memory, technique, and performance quality. It is also a great way to focus on one or two dances and learn advanced moves in those dances.

• Confidence and Joy – There’s nothing like the thrill of dancing on a real stage for a cheering crowd. Yes, you will have some butterflies, but it is absolutely worth it!

• Community and Celebration – Your friends, family, and fellow dancers are there to support and celebrate you.

• Lasting Memories – This is more than a performance—it’s a milestone in your dance journey. Plus, you get to use this routine for a full year!

We ask that dancers select their music from this list whenever possible, as the songs have been pre-approved for dance structure and choreography. That said, if you have a different Disney-owned song in mind, we’re happy to hear your ideas. If the rhythm, tempo, or structure is too difficult to choreograph or perform well, we’ll help you choose a more suitable option.
